Best Adjustable Dress Form
When I first saw this high quality adjustable dress form online, I just couldn’t believe my eyes.
On the product page, the price stated was $990.00! Hell, I wouldn’t pay that much even if it is the best adjustable dress form in the galaxy. For that price, the thing must be well-equipped with all kinds of crazy advanced features like voice recognition adjustments command, auto computerized measurements, etc.
Of course it was a mistype as shortly after, I checked out Amazon and discovered that the price was just 93 dollars. Now, for this price, I’d say this is definitely the best adjustable dress form I’ve ever come across. Trust me, I’ve had a few and they were a waste of money and space.

I’m really nuts about this Dritz dress form. I was skeptical at first because the previous dress forms I bought were pretty flimsy, especially the base and the stand. They wobbled a lot, so not long after I got frustrated and I simply had to put them back in the box, and return them.
Now, this Dritz one is a high quality adjustable dress form, and I knew just as soon as I took it out of the box and examined its base stand and pole which are constructed of plastic and metal respectively. Overall, the support stand is well made and so far it doesn’t shake about like there’s an earthquake going on…
Even though it’s durable and strong, it’s by no means heavy as I can move it around rather easily. I had no trouble setting it up and the whole thing is a snap to adjust from the height, rotation to measurements in various areas, etc. Also the dials are responsive and I love the smoothness of the fabric surface.
Initially I purchased the Dritz adjustable dress form small sized, then decided to get the medium one for my younger sister. She likes it a lot, especially its size which doesn’t take up too much room.
So, if you’ve been looking everywhere for the best adjustable dress form, then search no more because here it is. And mind you, I’m not the only one singing praises for this high quality adjustable dress form. Plenty of other people are delighted with it. I’ll post a link down here so you can read what others are saying about it.

If you’re planning on becoming a professional dressmaker, then it’s advisable that you acquire a variety of dress form sizes. Some novice dressmakers tend to be a little stingy with money, thus they would only rely on a single size form which is a big mistake if you ask any veteran pros out there.
Veteran professional dressmaker like Jeremy Eastland relies on several different sizes including adjustable dress form small, petite, medium, large, and even extra-large. Jeremy claims that newcomers who rely on a single size dress form exclusively are actually making things hard for themselves.
Even if a newcomer gets a hold of the best adjustable dress form on the market, it is still insufficient because the size of the form cannot be altered. What can be altered are the measurements in several areas of the form as well as the height.
So a novice dressmaker shouldn’t spend his or her money on just one high quality adjustable dress form. Instead, do pony up a bit more to obtain several forms in varying sizes. Investing in a variety of sizes will pay off in the long run. Ask Jeremy and he would tell you that he takes good care of his dress forms and they have served him well for close to two decades.
It was only a one-time investment for Jeremy to acquire all the dress forms that are currently available in his dressmaking shop. I also asked Jeremy where did he purchase all his dress forms, and he told me they were purchased in the mid-90’s from a warehouse that supply dressmaking tools to various shops across the country. Jeremy also revealed that the best adjustable dress form the warehouse was selling at the time costs $500!
Yes the price was unbelievably high, but back in the day some dressmakers were more than willing to pay that amount of money. They didn’t mind parting with that much money as long as what they’re going to get is a high quality adjustable dress form. It’s such a far cry from dressmakers of the current age who are unwilling to fork out a good amount of money to obtain the tools of the trade that are of high quality.
Personally, I wouldn’t spend a nickel on low quality dress forms. Last weekend, I was at a store near my parent’s house and I came across this horrendously made dress form. The price of the thing was only $20, but I can’t imagine anyone paying even that much for it. It was so bad; I could not believe that the shopkeeper would actually put a price tag on that thing.
Those who are interested in getting the dress form, I strongly urged you to please forget about it. Save your 20 dollars! Go save some more money, say around 80 bucks or so and then you can get yourself the best adjustable dress form which should only set you back for roughly less than 100 dollars. Good luck to all newbie dressmakers out there. Hope all of you will get plenty of orders in the coming days.
