Top 3 Circular Knitting Needles
I started using circular knitting needles about 2 or 3 years ago and I’ve been using them almost exclusively ever since! They’re better than the straight ones because they’re so much easier to use (don’t tire you hands as much during long bouts of knitting activity) and much more fun too. The flexible cord makes a huuuuge difference especially when you’re knitting big projects such as blankets and Afghans.
Anyway, if you’re looking for a circular knitting needles set; you might want to have a look at the offerings below. These sets are extremely high quality and would last for a very, very long time.
1) Clover Circular Knitting Needles Set
Anyway, if you’re looking for a circular knitting needles set; you might want to have a look at the offerings below. These sets are extremely high quality and would last for a very, very long time.
1) Clover Circular Knitting Needles Set
This is my favorite set because it’s pretty much complete. It has everything including a wide range of needle sizes – 12 in total. The available sizes are 3 to 10, and then 10.5, 11, 13 and finally 15. So that’s twelve bamboo tip sizes in total. When you have this many sizes at your disposal, then you’re ready to embark on just about any projects you can think of – hats, blankets, cardigans, and whatever else. You’re all set.
A total of 5 cord sizes are available in these handy Clover circular knitting needles set: size 16, 24, 29, 36 and 48. So there are twelve different needle sizes and five different cord sizes to choose from resulting in dozens of combinations for you to mess about with. I love experimenting with different combinations and it’s pretty addictive especially when I’m taking on multiple projects at a time!
The tip of each needle in this set is simply pure quality. Trust me; I’ve tried all twelve needle sizes and every single one is so smooth and didn’t cause me any problems at all. The needles glide effortlessly and I had lots of fun using the set on a variety of projects. The cords are great as well because they swivel thus making knitting activity so much easier.
Overall, the Clover circular knitting needles set are seriously worth the money. My only gripe about it is the fact that the provided case doesn’t hold the Bamboo needles very well. The bands are a bit loose, but everything else is top-notch.

2) Denise Circular Knitting Needles
Here’s another quality circular knitting needles set which can also be utilized in either circular or straight “mode”. In this set, you’ll find a total of 10 needle sizes (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 13, 15 6) along with 6 different cord lengths (5, 9, 12, 14, 16 and 19). Other items include a couple of extenders, stitch holders as well as button ends.
The best thing about this set has to be the 2 extenders! Yup, they are great because you can link them up with the available cords resulting in a wide range of lengths. This is an excellent feature as you can complete a big variety of projects with the many length combinations the set has to offer. Remember to lock the cables when you’re knitting or they’ll dislodged therefore causing you a lot of hassle in the process.
Like the Needlemaster set below, the interchangeable feature of Denise circular knitting needles set is simply top-notch. You can quickly change a needle size and it can be done with absolute ease. You know, the first time I use this needle set, the disconnection part was quite difficult (I wanted to change the needle size from 10 to 10.5). After that, everything went smoothly. Weird!
The needles are plastic but solid and light. Don’t slip as much as my other generic knitting needles. However the smaller size needles, specifically size 5 & 6 are slightly on the bendy side. I love the box. It’s solid, compact and easy on the eye. It holds everything well and I have no trouble picking out whatever I needed from the box. The slots are labeled for easy picking!
So bottom line: I highly recommend this circular knitting needles set. The price is also decent enough. Around 55 bucks for the whole set. Use the link below if you want to find out the latest price.

3) Needlemaster Circular Knitting Needle Kits
The Needlemaster circular knitting needle kits you see above are extremely popular especially amongst knitting newbies. This one is called the Needlemaster 40-piece Interchangeable Needle Set, and it’s much cheaper than the Clover one.
The needles in this set are all aluminum and very flexible. By flexible, I mean the set as whole because it allows you to use the needles in either circular way, or the more “old school” straight way. The needles’ points are decent overall. They are quite sharp and slides very smoothly. There are 8 different needle sizes for you to pick plus cable lengths that come in 4 different sizes: 20, 24, 29 and 36 inch.
Switching needles are a breeze unlike some cheap set I found at a flea market which I can’t remember the brand. See, I like how the Needlemaster’s needles feel in my hands and there are easy to use even in the straight fashion. The big problem with this set is that the needle often came off the connector during knitting. It’s a rare occurrence if you’re using the longest cable which is the 36 inch.
However using the shorter cables, the needles get unscrewed rather often. Also the cables are pretty stiff all around and it would’ve been great if the manufacturer had included cables that can swivel smoothly. The casing is awesome though and the needles are nicely colored so that sort of makes them pretty fun to use.
All in all, Needlemaster’s circular knitting needle kits are ideal for beginners, especially when you consider the price which under 40 dollars from Amazon (at time of writing). It was shipped to my place for free so the offer might still be in place. Try using the link below to find out.
